Dr. Andrew Jenkin
​
Andrew is the Head of Club Development Consultany and is the main point of call. To date, he has led on the incorporation of over 30 sports clubs across the UK as charitable and community organisations.
He has led on a range of governance reviews and feasibility studies and has helped raise over £360k in grants for community groups and clubs to support their ongoing activities and operations.

Andrew lectures in Sport Management at the University of Stirling and is a founding Trustee of the international sport for development charity Africa on the Ball.

Nick Igoe
​
Nick Igoe is a Chartered Accountant with 32 years’ post qualification experience including 27 years as finance director. Between 1997 and 2012 Nick was West Ham United’s Finance Director.
​
Since 2013, Nick has been engaged as a consultant with Club Development on numerous projects for supporters’ trusts aspiring to gain control of their clubs, including the successful conversion to community ownership of clubs such as Newport County, Grays Athletic, Peacehaven & Telscombe and St Mirren.

Alan Russell​
​
Alan has been part of a business consulting practice which works with corporate, public and voluntary sector clients since 1999.
​
Alan’s experience in change consultancy and facilitation complements his previous background as a business process analyst, and his honours degree in Economics.
Alan is a passionate football fan, and balances his consulting role with the position of Chief Executive at Supporters Direct Scotland. He is also the chairman of Raith Supporters Trust, which owns a major shareholding in Raith Rovers FC, one of Scotland’s oldest professional football clubs.

Martin Cooke

Martin is the latest addition to the Club Development Consultancy team and brings with him a wealth of experience as the former General Counsel and Group Company Secretary of The Edrington Group.
Martin has combined his passion for sport with his business acumen and in November 2019 took over as the Chair of Scottish Cycling, having been a non-executive director, and chair of their Finance & Governance Committee, since 2015. He worked hard to ensure that Scottish Cycling played an important role in activations during the recent Cycling World Championships held on home soil, and continued to build collaborative partnerships across the sector.
Prior to this, Martin served as a non-executive director of Red Sky Management, a sports agency with expertise in seeing and developing the cross-over between success in business and sport.
Martin has vast experience at Board level in co-ordinating and negotiating major acquisitions and disposals, international joint ventures and restructurings; and been responsible for a very wide remit which encompasses corporate governance, insurance, risk management, brand protection, banking, shares and pensions; and he has developed and maintained very strong, effective and collaborative relationships with external advisers, customers and partners around the world.
He was part of the Transition Team that saw Crail Golfing Society successfully transition to a company limited by guarantee with effect from 1 January 2023, and presented a Governance, and Women in Golf, Review, to their new Board in July 2023.
